Professor Paolo von Schirach was interviewed by Sputnik News in an article called “Trump’s Reforms in First 100 Days: ‘No New Major Laws Have Been Passed’,” published April 29. In the article, he explained how the Trump administration has been unsuccessful in passing legislation as promised on the campaign trail. Von Schirach also assessed the successes and shortfalls of Trump’s first foreign trip as President, in a May 24 Sputnik article titled “Trump ‘PR’ Trip to Riyadh to Hardly Boost Anti-Terror Fight, Ex-EU Adviser Says.” On June 5, von Schirach was featured in the article, “Trump’s Paris Accords Pullout Shows US Retreating into Anti-Science Fixation.” According to von Schirach, the Trump administration’s decision shows that “America is no longer leading the world.”

On May 30, Professor Tam Nguyen was interviewed by Forbes about the future of corporate sustainability. In the interview, “Corporate Sustainability Unfolding,” Dr. Nguyen, who is Global Head of Sustainability at Bechtel, discussed the relationship between sustainability and technology in global business.

Dr. Andrew Wyner, Dean of Graduate Studies, wrote a letter to the editor that was published in the Economist’s June 3rd issue. Dr. Wyner’s letter argued that producing counterfeit rhino horn could help trigger the collapse of the poaching industry.
